Al Jalila Foundation, the vanguard of Dubai Health's charitable activities, and Positive Zero, a top decentralized decarbonization infrastructure company with its headquarters in the United Arab Emirates, have partnered to open a game-changing solar power project on the foundation's property.

Installing solar panels on the roof and carport of Al Jalila Foundation is part of the project, which is made possible by a 20-year solar lease deal with SirajPower, Positive Zero's power producing company and a well-known distributed solar energy supplier in the UAE. This large-scale project is expected to provide 4,403 MWh (megawatt hours) of clean solar energy during the term of the contract, which is equivalent to planting roughly 51,600 tree seedlings and drastically decreasing carbon emissions by 3,121 metric tons.

Co-Founder and Chairman of Positive Zero Mohammed Abdulghaffar Hussain stressed the project's importance in demonstrating the business's adaptable strategy in supporting a range of industries, including philanthropy. He expressed optimism that by utilizing renewable energy, other nonprofits will be motivated to follow suit and maximize their impact while reducing energy expenses and carbon emissions.

Hussain also emphasized the UAE's leadership in the Middle East's embrace of solar energy, with installed capacity predicted to triple by 2030. This puts early adopters in a position to lead the shift to a more sustainable energy landscape, like the Al Jalila Foundation.

Positive Zero offers clean energy solutions to organizations like Al Jalila Foundation without requiring upfront expenditures. The approach covers funding, building, long-term operations, and maintenance. This strategy democratizes access to clean energy, making renewable energy integration more widely acceptable to a larger range of organizations.

SirajPower and Taka Solutions, two of Positive Zero's connected businesses, have already made great progress in encouraging the use of renewable energy and energy efficiency across a range of industries in the GCC markets.
